Cesarean in Awareness Workshop
Are you hoping to avoid a cesarean?
Do you know you will be giving birth by cesarean?
This focused workshop will change the way you approach your birth. In a setting free of judgment, we will explore why our society has the reaction it does to Cesarean Births, and how we can better support all birthing women in understanding what is involved with this event both physically and emotionally.
In this workshop we will:
- "walk through' a cesarean birth step by step
- explore options during a cesarean birth
- examine our innate coping abilities, and explore how to apply in a cesarean birth
- address needs of Dad/partner during a cesarean birth
- explore options for supporting mom during a cesarean birth
- preparing for caring for a newborn and recovering from a cesarean birth
